80SD Stepper Motor Module Series

The B&R 80SD Stepper Motor Module Series introduces a versatile and compact motor control module built around the ACOPOSmicro stepper motor. At the heart of the 80SD Stepper Motor is an ACOPOSmicro stepper motor known for its precision microstepping capabilities. The module utilizes B&R’s open X2X Link communication interface to seamlessly integrate with automation controllers and software. High resolution is ensured through the inclusion of dual 24V incremental encoders. Powered by a wide-range 24-64VDC supply that accommodates most automation environments, the 80SD Stepper Motor can source up to 10A continuous current to each of its two motor connections. This high current capacity combined with micro stepping delivers smooth and accurate motion. Digital and analog input/output lines are provided to integrate the motor with external devices and circuits using signals such as triggers or limits. The module’s X2X Link interface enables high-speed, real-time data exchange with controllers and integrated safety features such as monitoring and motion commands.
