80M Stepper Motor Series

The B&R 80M Stepper Motor Series is a line of 2-phase hybrid stepper motors known for their extremely compact size without compromising on performance. The motors feature a 60mm diameter mounting flange and measured only 51.8mm in length, making them an excellent choice for applications with tight space constraints or the need for a small form factor. Despite the small footprint, the 80M Stepper Motor Series still delivers robust torque capabilities with a 1.1Nm holding torque rating and 0.8Nm stall torque rating. This ensures the motors can reliably hold and move loads even under demanding conditions. Internally, the 80M Stepper Motor Series uses a hybrid design approach that combines a robust steel rotor with permanent magnets placed strategically around the rim. This hybrid design allows the motors to achieve their small dimensions while maintaining high torque output. Externally, the motors utilize a 2-phase drive method that delivers full-step resolutions as fine as 1.8 degrees for precise motion control needs. The motors are rated for operation at both 2.5A in serial mode or 5A in parallel mode, providing flexibility for different application power requirements.
