Product Description

The 5PP5IF.FPLM-00 is an interface board designed by B & R Automation for use on its industrial automation and control panel. This product helps customers easily implement a simple tree connection structure or optional ring redundancy without any extra effort. It can also reliably meet the highest automation demands in terms of response time and shortest cycle times. When this interface board is combined with the B & R control system, it’s poll-response chaining provides ideal performance, which is particularly suited for use in central control tasks. The interface board is an IP00 product that should be protected from dust, water and any other type of foreign interference. It has an efficient hub for easy cabling and is compatible with three main types of automation systems, including PP500, and APC511 product series.

The 5PP5IF.FPLM-00 power panel has been certified for international use. Each package of this product carries CE, GOST-R, GL, and cULus certifications. There is a battery backed SRAM memory on this product. During power failure mode, about 256 kilobytes of this memory is still available for use. There are two POWERLINK interfaces on this product; each of these interfaces maintains a transmission rate of this interface, which is measured to be about 100 megabits per second. The maximum distance that can be easiest between two products featuring this interface is 100 meters.
