The 5LS187.6 is a product offered by the B&R Automation that is under the 5LS Series; this is a universal module that is capable of offering solutions when it comes to connectivity as well as optimal performance in industrial applications. A CAN bus interface is installed in this module with the 4MPP connector size and it has the maximal timing rate of 500 kBit/s. It provides significant functionality in an array of industrial applications to foster reliable communication.
There is also an introduction of an ETHERNET Powerlink interface in the 5LS187.6 which complies under the 100 Base-T (ANSI/IEEE 802.3). This includes up to a maximum baud rate of 100 MBit/s; it also employs shielded RJ45 ports to foster safe transmission of data with minimal interference.
