This industrial module is specific to applications, which comes with an ample 1 MB of battery backed SRAM. The described memory configuration provides such advantages as data permanency and insensitivity to power failure.

The supported interfaces of the 5LS182.6-1 are a POWERLINK (V1/V2) and it can function in the role of a managing node/controlled node.
