The 5DLSDL.1000-00 smart display link manufactured by B & R Automation belongs to its 5DL series and allows to establish all communication between an automation panel and a B & R Industrial PC using just a single cable. Not only does it only display data from the PC but it also transmits the touchscreen, LED, matrix. and service data for a smooth industrial experience without any inconvenience. The main advantage of this configuration is that the automation panel can be installed up to 40 m away from the industrial PC. USB 1.1 can be easily integrated with this configuration without external modules and data can be transmitted as well. The SDL is designed for all automation panel 900 devices.

The 5DLSDL.1000-00 display link works with a supply voltage of 24 V DC that requires a nominal current of maximum 4.2 A for optimal operation and it consumes power of 3 W. The unit is protected and graded against overvoltage in Overvoltage category II as per EN 61131-2 standard. The 5DLSDL.1000-00 has a metal housing and its nuts require a maximum tightening torque of 0.5 Nm. The unit operates best under an operating temperature of 0 to 45 degree celsius.
