The 5D5212.24 is touch display unit produced by B & R automation company to provide operators with a powerful and intuitive interface to interact with industrial controller systems in real time. This display unit streamlines production processes, reduces downtime and increases operation efficiency of the servo system. It is intended to be used in combination with the IPC5000 and the IPC5600 remote controllers. The installation of this display unit can be by direct mounting on the controller or away from the controller as required by the IPC 5600 industrial controller series. If the display unit is to be installed away from the controller, the maximum permissible installation distance between the controller and the display is about 10 meters.

The resolution of the 5D5212.24 display unit is about 1024 x 768 pixels, this high resolution produces finer display, and smoother gradients, resulting in a more realistic representation of information. The diagonal length of the 5D5212.24 display unit is about 351 millimeters while the outer dimensions of the length, height and depth of the display unit is about 392 x 296 x 52 millimeters. The Background lighting of the display unit is about 180 candela per meter square, this lightning has a lifespan of about 10,000 hours.

The 5D5212.24 does not feature any keys, its touch technology already provides all the control options required by the operator. The frame of the display unit is made from anodized aluminum material, while the Decor foil is made from polyester material. When mounting the display unit on the controller unit, the display is fastened on the controller with the six screws that are included in the delivery package of the product.
