The 5D5212.02 is a sophisticated display unit produced by B&R to serve as a control and communication interface for the IPC5000 and IPC5600 Industrial PC unit. This display unit is a product of the combination of trusted past experience, and the latest industry relevant innovations, it is a high responsive touch device with a Thin Film Transistor display. The 5D5212.02 display unit is well suited for both direct mounting and remote operation. During direct mounting, the display is installed on the controller using the six screws delivered with the device, however for remote operation, the display can be installed at a distance of 10 meters away from the industrial PC units to depends on. To facilitate installation and operation, the FDP display and the touch screen connection cables that are needed during mounting are included in the delivery package of the display.

The 5D5212.02 display unit has Thin Film Transistor design, the image resolution maintained by the product during operation is 1024 x 768 pixels. The display also has a Compact Fluorescent Light (CFL) that produces a background light of 200 candelas per meter square, and can maintain this light intensity for up to 50,000 hours. The 5D5212.02 display is controlled by touch, unlike traditional display devices, operators wearing gloves or using stylus pen can use this display unit perfectly without significant effect on its response time.

The 5D5212.02 display has a very light weight which makes it very easy to be moved around during installation, transportation and storage. It has no built in fan of temperature control interface, however it effectively dissipate excess heat through the process of natural convection.
