The 5D5210.01 display unit is one of the hundreds of problem solving machines manufactured by B&R, it is a highly responsive touch screen device that allows engineers to comfortably interact with Industrial PC units and monitor their operation. Although this display can be used in several industrial applications, it should only be combined with two main industrial controller series; the IPC5000 and the IPC5600. The housing design of this product allows for both direct mounting and remote operation, however for the IPC5600 industrial PC unit, the mechanical dimensions of controller allows for only remote operation.

The 5D5210.01 display is equipped with a Compact Fluorescent Lamp which generates a background light intensity of about 450 candelas per meter square. The high background light intensity of this product is maintained for more than 55,000 hours after which it reduces to about 50 percent of its original value. The display has a light grey design, it is also equipped with a frame that is made from anodized aluminum material which is renowned for its light weight, high durability and chemical resistance.

The 5D5210.01 display is a touch screen device with analog resistive touch screen technology. The touch technology of the display provides and engaging and interactive interface, it is also very responsive and will respond to touch from gloved fingers or stylus pen. For best visibility results, this display unit should be mounted and operated indoors away from direct sunlight, also it should also be kept away from environments with significant water condensation.
