The 5D5210 is a durable touch screen display unit built by B&R automation according to international standards of product quality and safety. The display can be used in combination of IPC5000 and IPC5600 controllers, it provides a reliable monitoring interface and allows operators to send command instructions into the controller in real time. The screen of the display features a Thin Film Transistor Technology, it also has a Compact fluorescent background light that can maintain a high light intensity for at least 50,000 work hours. The flexibility of this product is unrivalled, after delivery the display can be directly mounted on the housing of the controller for operation, if direct mounting is not feasible as in the case of the IPC5600, the display can be installed separate from the display and used for remote operation.

The 5D5210 display unit maintains a Video Graphics Array resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, to ensure quality image rendering this product is able to show more than 250,000 different colors and color combinations. During operation, the display does not consume a lot of power, it also generates very little noise to cause environmental disturbance. The touch screen technology integrated into this device is an analog resistive touch technology, it very responsive and will even respond to stylus pens or touch from gloved fingers.

The 5D5210 display unit is delivered with six screws for direct mounting, it is also supplied with and FPD and touch screen connection cables. The touch screen cable is expected to be connected to the RS232 serial interface on the controller to be used with the display unit. The total weight of this device is approximately 2.5 kilograms.
