5D5 Operator Interface Series

The 5D5 Operator Interface Series from B&R Automation offers sophisticated touch display units engineered for reliability in demanding industrial environments. The series includes 10.4-inch LCD display models with VGA 640x480 resolution and color capabilities of up to 262,144 colors. These displays feature adjustable brightness and contrast that can be set using different utilities and the BIOS for optimizing visibility under various lighting conditions. They also provide a black anodized aluminum frame and non-reflective filtered glass front for maximum clarity. The décor foil has been tested for chemical resistance according to DIN 42115. The 10.4-inch displays are equipped with both fluorescent and TFT backlighting options and achieves a high brightness rating of 250 cd/m2 for optimal visibility. The backlights also have long rated lifespans of up to 40,000 hours. These display units can withstand wide operating temperatures from 0 to 50°C as well as storage temperatures from -20 to 60°C making them suitable for applications with extreme conditions. Additional features include front-mounted LED status indicators.
