The 5C5000.22 is a bus control unit manufactured by B & R Automation for the 5C5 series of industrial control equipment. It has a robust build that is able to withstand harsh industrial environment without any performance issues on a day to day basis. It is designed for the 5C5 series of industrial equipment and is compatible to be installed in various configurations. The unit has multiple slots to allow for optimal connectivity profile and it is also designed to accomodate a CD ROM drive to run external data on a frequent basis. The 5C5000.22 bus control unit can run associated industry equipment that are compatible with it.

The 5C5000.22 has 2 slots that are 1 BR PC/OSA and 1 half size PCI slot which lend it its versatility. The unit can be utilized with an add-on drive to be able to run any external CD ROM device. The unit is compatible with 5C5001.xx system units and it requires a power supply of 24 V DC to exhibit an optimal performance profile. It is housed within a robust industrial housing and comes with all necessary industrial connectors to be able to be installed in a diverse connectivity profile. The unit operates optimally in a temperature range of -25 to 60 degree celsius.
