The 5C2001.15 from the Provit B & R industrial controllers belong to the 5C2 series of controllers that are both advanced and smart. The open architecture design offered from the controller allows to meet individual needs and IBM AT standard compliance makes it compatible with various operating system that increases its modularity in industrial workplaces. The operating voltage of the system is 24 volt DC and it can be comissioned at a maximum altitude of up to 3000 m. The unit does not come with a fan so it must be operated carefully to avoid peakload damages and it also does not come with a hard disk so user must decide and arrange for the storage with purchase.

The 5C2001.15 has a BIOS of Award Elite that is run by a real time clock from its processor 80486DX2-66 MHz. The controller's operating temperature range from 0 to 50 degree celsius and it has a DRAM of 8 MB.
