The 5ACCMA00.0000-000 is a strong and extremely reliable mounting unit designed by B & R Automation as part of the installation accessories for the AP5000 Automation panel. This mounting unit is a swing arm device that contributes to the long-lasting operation of the panel by providing an all round IP65 protection according to international standards. Under normal operating conditions, the 5ACCMA00.0000-000 it is possible to install this mounting unit in two directions due to the symmetrical design of the back of the panel. Also, the flange used with the automation panel is intended to be installed on the back of the mounting unit. When a flange is used with the mounting unit, the flange output can be selected to be towards the top or bottom of the installation set-up.

The 5ACCMA00.0000-000 mounting unit is classified to belong to the pollution degree 2 according to EN 61131-2. With proper installation on the automation panel and proper installation on the swing arm, the mounting unit is classified to belong to Type 4X indoor degree of protection class according to UL 50. Unlike other mounting units in the series, the 5ACCMA00.0000-000 does not contain any USB interface; however, it can be used with almost all members of the AP 5000 panel series.

The housing material of this mounting unit is made from aluminum, this is particularly desirable because of the unique combination of lightweight and strong mechanical and chemical protection provided by the material. The installation of the mounting unit on the back of the automation panel is relatively straightforward and can be quickly completed by well-trained engineers without any problems.
