Product Description:
The 5A501002 is an adapter produced by the reputable B&R automation to serve as the receiver unit of the remote display adapter local unit. It is designed to meet international standards and should be mounted on the back of a B&R Thin Film Transistor (TFT) standard display unit. This adapter can also be used at up to 10 meters from the remote display unit. A maximum distance of 35 meters can be maintained between the remote unit and the local unit without any interruption in operation. The 5A501002 display unit has a width of about 171 millimeters and a length of 88 millimeters. The total thickness of the display unit is also about 27 millimeters. The housing of the remote unit features a 24 Volts Direct current interface which can supply a remote display unit that requires 24 volts for operation. However, only display unit from B&R automation should be connected to the remote unit. The plug required for this connection is delivered with the device
The 5A501002 display unit features a COM connection for connecting the serial interface of a touch screen display unit, the cable required for this connection is available and can be ordered separately. The remote display adapter local unit is connected to the display unit through the GS link connection and through a GS link cable. The required cable for this connection is also available separately from B&R automation.
This remote display unit has been tested and confirmed to be compatible with a broad range of display units, a list of these compatible display unit are provided in the documentation of the remote unit. The display unit should not be exposed to extreme humidity during operation.
