This product is a machine component that is connected with the primary slave of the first IDE controller using this connector and recognized as the primary slave drive. During operation, data on the CDs inserted into this add on device are read at a rate of 4 megabytes per second, this reduces downtime and improves operation efficiency of industrial control units. The 5A5009.01 add-on CD ROM drive can be mounted on the Industrial PC unit either vertically or horizontally depending on the industrial environment and operation requirements.
