Product Description
The 4PP452.0571-B5 has one of the most unique layouts in the PP452 product series by B&R Automation. Featuring an advanced built-in Geode 500 Mhz LX800 processor, this power panel efficiently performs tasks and monitoring functions. The 4PP452.0571-B5 has a 5-inch (144 mm) color TFT display at QVGA resolution. Screens with QVGA resolution have a maximum displaying quality of 320 x 240 pixels. During operation, the 4PP452.0571-B5 utilizes a powerful DDR SDRAM with 128 MB of storage capacity. SDRAM is a nonvolatile memory that resets when power is off. The 4PP452.0571-B5 features 40 membrane keys, 20 of which function with a yellow LED.
The 4PP452.0571-B5 has extended support for the most common communication interfaces and serial protocols, such as RS232, Ethernet, USB 2.0, and CompactFlash. The Ethernet interface is equipped with an Intel 82551 ER controller that allows a transfer rate of 10/100 Mbit/s. The 4PP452.0571-B5's two USB 2.0 interfaces require 500 mA of supply current each during connection and transfer. Meanwhile, the 4PP452.0571-B5's 9-pin DSUB plug allows serial communication via the RS232 protocol. The RS232 interface for this power panel also features a 16C550-compatible UART. At most, serial communication via the 9-pin DSUB connector can reach a maximum speed of 115 kBaud.
Power panels by B&R rely on a voltage supply with a nominal rating of 24 V. The acceptable voltage range during operation is between 18 and 30 volts. During operation, the 4PP452.0571-B5 typically consumes 15 watts at the permissible operating temperature range (0 to 50 degrees Celsius). The 4PP452.0571-B5 has outer dimensions of 302 mm (W), 187 mm (H), and 98 mm (D). Approximately, the 4PP452.0571-B5 weighs 2.9 kilograms and exhibits a protection category of IP 65 (front side).
