Product Description
The 4PP420.0571-K15 is a modern power panel that has robust communication interfaces and display features. It has a liquid-crystal display that spans a diagonal length of 5.71 inches. Liquid-crystal displays are generally more energy-efficient than thin-film transistor displays and are cheaper. Like TFT displays, however, LCDs also require background lighting to display images and colors. Instead of membrane keys, the 4PP420.0571-K15 integrates an analog touch screen>. with a degree of transmission of around <<78 to 80 percent. The power panel's front side has a rated degree of protection of IP 65. Electronics with such a protection rating are protected from dust, particulates, and water jet intrusions.
The 4PP420.0571-K15 has numerous slots and interfaces for several communication protocols. It has one slot each for aPCI and a Type 1 CompactFlash. Its serial COM interface for the RS232 communication protocol features a 9-pin DSUB male connector that paves the way for a maximum data transfer rate of 115 kBaud. With its RJ45 cable, the Ethernet interface allows a maximum rate of transfer of 10 or 100 Mbps. Finally, the 4PP420.0571-K15 has two universal serial bus (USB) ports that allow communication and data transfer with modern thumb drives and computers.
Like other power panels from the PP420 product line, the 4PP420.0571-K15 uses 128 MB of SDRAM and a powerful 500 MHz Geode processor. What's unique about the 4PP420.0571-K15 is that it also includes 512 kB of SRAM, which contributes to faster loading, computing, and monitoring functions. To keep the 4PP420.0571-K15 in its optimal condition, make sure to operate the power panel within its safe operating, storage, and transport temperature range. B&R Automation's manual recommends a transportation and storage temperature of -20 to 70 degrees.
