The 4PP282.1043-B5 Power panel is an automation product that offers customers the opportunity to enjoy the functionalities of industrial Panelwares, and Industrial PC units in a single compact device. This product is designed by B & R Automation and is particularly suited for the automation of small to mid-sized machines, while providing a great visualization interface. The power panel contains the Automation Runtime operating system, and a Geode SC 2200 processor which is responsible for its highly accurate computation performance. The connection interfaces on this product are also optimized to include only the Ethernet 10/100Mbit interface, RS232 Serial interface, and USB 1.1 connection interface. The power panel contains 2 status Light Emitting Diode that indicate the User or Compact Flash card access. It is also suited for both horizontal and vertical mounting orientations.

The 4PP282.1043-B5 power panel is a fanless device, heat is controlled through the heatsink installed into its housing unit. The DRAM memory in this power panel has a total storage capacity of approximately 64 megabytes, it also works with an SO-DIMM 144 pin socket. There is also an SRAM memory that is supported by the internal battery and has a total storage capacity of 256 kilobytes.
