The B & R Automation company manufactures the 4PP220.1043-K08 power panel as part of its 4PP Series of products. The model is a unit in the Power Panel 200 product line. It has a large display 10.4-inch display. The display is of the TFT color screen type and is also a resistance touchscreen. The display supports up to 256 colors and has a VGA resolution of 640 by 480 pixels. Its contrast ratio is 600:1 and its background lighting brightness is 350 cd/m2. The resistive touch screen uses the Hampshire, serial, 12-bit controller and has a 78% degree of transmission.

The input power of the model is 24 VDC. It has a maximum starting current of 20 A for less than 1 millisecond. The typical power consumption rating of the device is 17 watts while the maximum rating is 22 watts. The model works with the RS232 serial interface type. It features the Geode SC2200 processor and has 64 MB of DRAM memory. The unit has 2 MB of flash memory for firmware. The processor is cooled by means of a passive heat sink cooling system.

The unit has an ideal storage temperature range of -20 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius. It can also be safely transported within that same ambient temperature range. For operation, it is recommended for use in temperatures not less than 0 degrees Celsius and not exceeding 50 degrees Celsius. The product has the IP 65 rating for protection against sprayed water and dust on the front side of the unit. The back side is rated IP20 with a CompactFlash card installed. The 4PP220.1043-K08 power panel can be used at any elevation up to a maximum altitude of 3000 meters.
