Product Description
The 4PP120.1505-31 features one of the largest display screens available for B&R Automation's power panels. The 4PP120.1505-31 boasts a 15-inch (around 381 mm) diagonal color TFT display with XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) resolution. It exhibits 16.7 million colors and a contrast rating of 300:1. With this display quality, you can achieve a whole new level of viewing experience. The screen has a brightness of 330 cd/m^2 and has recommended horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 65 degrees and 50/55 degrees, respectively. At half-brightness display, the 4PP120.1505-31's background lighting has an estimated service life of 35,000 hours, roughly equivalent to four years.
The 4PP120.1505-31 has a resistive touch screen with a 78% degree of transmission. The controller implemented for the analog resistive touch screen is a serial Hampshire with 12-bit resolution. Like other PP120 power panels, the 4PP120.1505-31 utilizes a Geode SC2200 processor with a clocking frequency of 266 MHz. What's special about this processor is that it also employs an expanded command set from the MMX technology line. The 4PP120.1505-31's memory is a 64 MB DRAM with a 144-pin SO-DIMM socket. Aside from its display, processor, and memory, the 4PP120.1505-31 also has an impressive set of communication ports, interfaces, and peripheral slots.
The 4PP120.1505-31 offers an Ethernet interface, a CompactFlash slot, a COM serial interface, and two USB interfaces. The Ethernet interface uses an RJ45 twisted-pair cable that achieves a transfer rate of 10/100 Mbps. The 4PP120.1505-31 operates at a nominal voltage of 24 VDC with a typical power consumption of 30 watts. During starting periods, the current spikes at a maximum value of 20 A for less than a millisecond.
