4IF Power Panel Series

The B&R 4IF Power Panel Series provides interface modules designed for easy installation and communication with Power Panels. As screw-in modules, they insert directly into the I/O slots of Power Panels, requiring no additional wiring or setup. This makes them ideally suited for applications where space is limited or a standalone module would be too bulky. Each 4IF Power Panel module contains a single CAN interface, facilitating direct network connection of Power Panels. The CAN interface allows Power Panels to be placed anywhere on the machine while still enabling seamless communication to controllers and other devices. Module configuration and parameterization is performed through B&R's Automation Studio engineering software. A key feature of the 4IF Power Panel Series is its electrically isolated CAN interface. This isolation protects connected devices and eliminates ground loops that could cause communication issues or component damage. As modular plug-in devices, 4IF Power Panel modules also uphold the high mechanical robustness and long service life of B&R's Power Panel line.
