Product Description

The 4E0030.01-590 (IPC) industrial computer has been designed for use in harsh environments and also provides strong recovery and upgrading features. When put into recovery mode, IPC uses a special BIOS installed in the CMOS memory boot block. This BIOS is written once by the manufacturer (Award) and initializes only those components of the system which are necessary for running an upgrade. In this mode, the OS should be booted from a bootable diskette because no mass memory devices are initialized by BIOS when it enters recovery mode. The entire functional BIOS must be written using BIOS upgrade utilities once IPC starts in recovery mode. After a successful upgrade, it must turn off the power supply of an industrial PC then reset the recovery jumper to standard settings so that BIOS can boot properly.

It consists of 16 short stroke keys with yellow LEDs each for interface and can be user custom labeled, which makes it flexible for various applications. The temperature range within which this device operates is between 0 to 50 C (32 to 122 F) while it can be stored at -20 to 60 C (-4 to 140 F). Relative humidity levels supported are from 5% to 95% non-condensing, hence suitable under different environmental conditions. This IPC is manufactured ruggedized conforming IEC68-2-27 shock resistance standards as well as IEC68-2-6 vibration resistance standards so that it may withstand industrial conditions such as shocks or vibrations which could easily destroy other computers of its kind. Meaning even if subjected to a high-stress environment, this feature will ensure that industrial PCs remain robust and reliable always.

In summary, this Industrial PC model number: 4E0030.01-590 combines easy customization options with durability fitting any job type controls used within industries plus advanced recoveries, thus becoming one among many best selections available today for various industrial control applications.
