Product Description
The 4E0011.01-590 Industrial PC is suitable for industrial use because of its advanced features and strong build. In this setup, the Maintenance Controller (MTC) operates the keyboard as opposed to the keyboard controller in the I/O controller box, unlike in ordinary systems. What this means is an AT keyboard can be plugged in or out while IPC is still on power. The presence of an AT keyboard allows connection of keypad modules or a keyboard on a display unit, thus providing alternatives for inputting data. To avoid damaging the Panelware modules, inputs and outputs must be correctly connected with each other. However, if you are using the Provit 5600 line-up display unit, there will be no need of connecting keypad modules (external) since necessary keys are already incorporated into it.
Among its technical specifications are 16 short stroke keys having yellow LEDs, which can be customized with personal labels by users themselves. It works at a temperature spanning from 0 to 50C (32 to 122F) and can be stored between -20 and 60C (-4 and 140F). Furthermore, it supports a relative humidity range of 5% to 95% non-condensing, making it possible to operate under different environmental conditions.
This IPC meets IEC 68-2-27 standards for shock resistance and IEC 68-2-6 standards for vibration resistance, hence proving its strength even when used in tough industrial areas where reliability is key. With such a kind of design together with rugged construction, as well as being rich in terms of functions, this industrial PC becomes very useful not only for controls but also for monitoring systems flexibly, reliably, and easily.
