Designed to thrive in tough environments, this display module comes in two variations: blue (4D2024-00-090) and black (4D2024-00-590). The 2-line by 40-character configuration of the 4D2024.00.590 VFD allows for detailed information to be displayed as there is enough space for it. Each character is 5.0 mm tall which means they can be read from far away too; besides being readable from a distance, the color emitted by the display is green (505 nm) which shows well even under different lighting conditions common in an industrial setting. What sets this particular display apart from others like it is that fact that it doesn't need background illumination most VFDs are naturally luminescent.
