Product Description
The 0GH-DO650 is a high-performance digital output module from B&R Industrial Automation, developed in 2005. This module features 16 relay outputs capable of handling 120 VAC and 24 VDC inputs, offering versatile connectivity for various industrial uses. Each relay can manage a starting current of up to 12 A, and the module is organized into 4 electrically isolated output groups to ensure enhanced safety and reduce the risk of electrical interference. For proper installation, the TB170 terminal block must be ordered separately.
Short circuit protection is provided externally via an 8 A time lag fuse per group connected to the COM connection, while an external protective circuit is generally advised for added safety. Relay contacts have an internal voltage limit of 400 VSS, and the contact resistance at full load is 100 m?, ensuring dependable performance. The module operates with a switching frequency of up to 10 Hz under nominal load conditions.
Power consumption is rated with a maximum of 0.7 W at 5 V, 3.3 W at 24 V, and a total maximum of 4 W. The switching delays are optimized, with typical delays of 5.6 ms for Log. 0 to Log. 1 and 2.5 ms for Log. 1 to Log. 0, and maximum delays of 10 ms and 5 ms, respectively. The module supports a switching capacity from a minimum of 0.1 mA / 0.1 VDC to a maximum of 300 VA / 90 W. It provides electrical isolation between output-to-PLC and group-to-group up to 144 VAC and 250 VAC, respectively, but lacks isolation between individual outputs.
