Product Description
The 0GH-D0428 is a robust digital output module from B&R Automation, introduced in 2010, designed to meet demanding automation requirements. This module features 32 transistor outputs with a nominal voltage of 24 VDC and supports a continuous current of 0.5 A per output. It is structured with 4 electrically isolated output groups, enhancing system reliability by minimizing cross-signal interference. For installation, terminal blocks must be ordered separately. The module is C-UL-US listed, ensuring it adheres to stringent safety standards.
It offers electrical isolation between output-to-PCC and group-to-group, but does not isolate between individual outputs. The switching voltage ranges from a minimum of 18 VDC to a maximum of 30 VDC, with a nominal value of 24 VDC. It handles a maximum continuous current of 0.5 A per output, 4 A per group, and 16 A for the entire module. The module supports a switching frequency of up to 500 Hz for resistive loads, and features efficient switching delays, with typical delays of 5 usec (Log. 0 to Log. 1) and 60 usec (Log. 1 to Log. 0), and maximum delays of 110 usec and 100 usec, respectively.
The module includes overload protection, automatically restarting after approximately 5 seconds following an overload cutoff. It is designed to handle a short circuit current ranging from 0.75 to 1.5 A, and features internal protective circuits to guard against peak overvoltages up to 55 V and reverse polarity of the 24 V supply. External protective circuits are only needed if required. The module's power consumption is 5 W internally and 2 W per group on the terminal side at 24 V. The dimensions are 285 mm in height, 40 mm in width, and 185 mm in depth, making it a compact yet powerful addition to automation systems.
