The 0GH-CP153 is an advanced CPU by B&R Automation, crafted to excel in industrial automation settings. It features 64 KB SRAM of dual-ported RAM and 256 KB SRAM of system RAM, delivering exceptional performance with an instruction cycle time of just 0.8 usec. The CPU includes a versatile array of communication options, including one RS232 interface and one electrically isolated RS485/RS422/TTY interface, the latter of which is network-capable for extended connectivity. Although it does not support expansions master or NC synchronization, the 0GH-CP153 is designed to operate efficiently within its built-in features.
This module accommodates application memory options such as ME950, ME953, ME960, and ME963, which must be purchased separately. It includes a nonvolatile real-time clock with a resolution of 1 sec, ensuring reliable timekeeping even if power is lost. For system management, it is equipped with both a reset button and a cold start button, facilitating easy troubleshooting and system reboots.
