Product Description
The 0GH-CP100 is a sophisticated 2010 CPU engineered by B&R Automation, designed to handle complex industrial automation tasks. This module is equipped with 128 KB SRAM of dual-ported RAM and 256 KB SRAM of system RAM, providing substantial memory and high-speed processing with a rapid command cycle time of just 0.8 us. It includes a variety of communication interfaces: one RS232 interface, one electrically isolated RS232/TTY, and one electrically isolated RS485/RS422. The RS485/RS422 interface supports network capabilities, making it adaptable for various communication needs. The CPU does not feature a MMU or FPU, ensuring that it operates efficiently with a streamlined design.
The 0GH-CP100 supports a maximum baud rate of 347 KBaud and can communicate over distances up to 1200 m, offering flexibility in network design and deployment. It integrates a nonvolatile real-time clock with a lithium battery that provides at least 2 years of backup power, along with a gold foil capacitor that offers at least 10 minutes of additional backup. This combination ensures that timekeeping remains accurate even during power interruptions. Additionally, the module features battery monitoring to ensure that power levels are consistently tracked.
With a maximum power consumption of 10 W, including the necessary application memory (which must be ordered separately), the 0GH-CP100 is designed to be both efficient and reliable. It operates within a storage temperature range of -20 degrees C to +60 degrees C when the application memory is installed. The module is compatible with the BP300 base plate, and has a B&R ID Code of $20. Measuring 285 mm x 80 mm x 185 mm, this CPU offers a compact yet powerful solution for a wide range of industrial automation applications.
