The ZK4701-0421-2030 motor extension cable is designed to handle high power transmission and signal management in industrial automation settings. It supports a rated voltage of 630 V AC/DC for power transmission and 63 V AC/DC for signal (24 V). The rated current is 14 A for power and 3.6 A for signal (24 V). The cable offers an impulse voltage rating of 6.0 kV for power and 1.5 kV for signal. This motor extension cable is built with connectors/cables of the itec® Series 915 where Head A is equipped with a plug and Head B with a socket. Both heads maintain a straight configuration to ensure stable connections in dynamic industrial environments. The conductor material for signals is bare copper and shielding covers more than 85 % to minimize interference.

The ZK4701-0421-2030 motor extension cable can endure a bending radius of 7x the outer diameter when moved and 12x when used in drag chains. It’s also designed for drag-chain applications featuring excellent torsion resistance of ± 30° per meter and a tensile load capacity of 20 N/mm². The wire’s polyurethane (PUR) jacket in orange provides robust protection with a wall thickness of 0.9 mm shielding it from external damage. The signal wires are insulated with polypropylene (PP) and the power wires have a dielectric strength of 2 kV. The wire is rated to withstand 5 million cycles. This cable operates at speeds of up to 4 m/s over a maximum travel distance of 20 m horizontally.
