The ZK4502-0023-0200 from Beckhoff is an excellent quality Motor Cable from the ZK Motor Cable Series. It supports a maximum operating voltage of 1000 V AC (UL) and has an insulation resistance of ≥ 500 MΩ * km that ensures robust electrical performance as well as safety. Designed with brass/gold-plated contacts to ensure secure, low-resistance connections that optimize conductivity. Boasting a test voltage of 4000 V at 50 Hz for 5 minutes (tested wire-to-wire and wire-to-screen), reliable performance is a guarantee when performance is required in demanding environments-high voltage tolerance is critical.
With a cross-section power rating of 1.50 mm² (approx. AWG16) and a wire resistance (brake) ≤ 26.0 Ω/km, this motor cable is optimally designed for stable power transfer with minimal loss in efficiency. The outer cable diameter of 11.7 mm ± 0.3 mm and a weight of 224 kg/km (150.506 lb/1000 ft) of this motor cable make it suitable for fixed installations as it has durability and space saving capabilities. Designed for the environment, it offers a minimum of 5x outer diameter of the cable and guarantees ease of installation with good longevity of the cable without compromising its durability. Optical covering factor of shielding should be at ≥85%; this provides a higher percentage of protection against electromagnetic interference. Conductor material uses bare copper to give least electrical resistance.
The maximum operational height is 2000 meters for the ZK4502-0023-0200, which puts it in an overvoltage category of 3. This applies to the criteria given by VDE 0110/EN61984 part 6.19.2.2. With this category, it means that overvoltage will be more frequently experienced within the installation.
