The ZK4500-0023-0060 is a member of the ZK Motor Cable Series of Beckhoff which is designed for use in demanding industrial applications where high mechanical and electrical stress is expected.

This model is optimized for use in dynamic environments, in the application of which, it is expected to undergo high levels of use by automated machinery. Head A of the cable is designed with an installation size of M23 with a plug-style connector and the contact arrangement is female. It uses an 8-pin face that enables a full-fledged connectivity interface for power and signals, where power and signals can be transmitted in one interface. The wire termination is made by a crimp connection which is known for its high quality and reliability to give a good connection in mechanical stresses and environmental conditions. To help increase the connector's overall strength and durability, the body has been made of metal. With a pitch dimension of 7.62 mm, Head B's installation size is identical to that of Head A in terms of design features. It also features a plug connector with four pins and a female contact type. A clamping yoke connection, which is widely recognized for its high dependability and low maintenance requirements, is the termination mechanism utilized here.

This cable is designed for continuous movement applications, as seen by its maximum bending cycle capability of 5 million cycles. The cable can support high-speed and high-stress activities given that it can operate at a maximum travel speed of 240 m/min with an acceleration of 30 m/s². The cable's operating time can be extended by making rapid turns without breaking it thanks to the minimum bending radius of 87mm, which is seven times the outside diameter.
