The ZK1090-3191-1030 EtherCAT cable is designed for robust industrial use meeting high performance demands. It features a rated voltage of 30 V as per IEC 61076-2-101 and is capable of high shielding attenuation (≥43 dB) for noise suppression. This cable is designed with an insulation resistance of at least 150 MΩ per kilometer and ensures high durability over long distances. For capacitance properties, it provides an unbalanced capacitance to ground rated at 3400 pF per kilometer while its mutual capacitance measures 51 pF per meter at a frequency of 1 kHz. The Ethernet specification of the cable includes a characteristic impedance of 100 Ω with an acceptable variance of ± 15 Ω at 100 MHz. This makes the cable well suited for Ethernet based industrial network applications that demand consistent signal integrity. This EtherCAT cable is built to withstand harsh environments offering resistance to oils, acids, lyes and solvents. Its PUR jacket ensures durability and it complies with DIN EN 60811-404 for oil resistance.
The ZK1090-3191-1030 EtherCAT cable has a cross section of 1 x 4 x 0.14 mm² (AWG26) with a conductor construction of 19 x 0.1 mm tinned copper wires. The model’s outer diameter is 5.4 mm ± 0.3 mm allowing for easy installation even in tight spaces. The cable’s shielding is made of a braid of tinned copper wires with a 90 % optical covering factor. The cable can withstand up to 20 million cycles and is suitable for drag chain applications.
