The ZK1090-3131-1100 EtherCAT cable is designed to meet high performance industrial automation requirements specifically for use in drag-chain applications. It is manufactured by a reputable company specializing in high end automation solutions. This cable provides reliable data transmission for Ethernet systems.

The ZK series cable construction features a tinned copper conductor with a cross section of 1 x 4 x 0.14 mm² (AWG26) and an outer diameter of 5.4 mm ± 0.3 mm. The conductor material is tinned copper that provides excellent conductivity and durability. It is shielded with braided tinned copper wires offering 90 % optical coverage which ensures low electromagnetic interference and stable signal transmission. The cable is suitable for drag-chain use supporting a maximum acceleration of 10 m/s² and a speed of up to 15 m/s. It has a life cycle of 20 million cycles under specific conditions. The cable’s PUR (polyurethane) jacket is green and provides robust protection, being oil, acid and solvent-resistant in compliance with DIN standards. The cable operates within a temperature range of -40 °C to +80 °C. The polypropylene insulation of the wire ensures high durability under continuous movement and it is compliant with CE and RoHS standards.

The ZK1090-3131-1100 EtherCAT cable plugs at both ends are M8 connectors with 4 pin male contacts, straight configuration and A-coding. They are rated for a voltage of 63 V and a current of 4 A at 40°C. The connectors are shielded to further reduce interference that ensures secure and stable data transmission in demanding environments. The insulation resistance of the connectors is ≥ 100 GΩ according to IEC 60512. The cable’s bending radius during movement is 20x the outer diameter while it is 4x for fixed installations.
