The ZK1090-3131-1003 EtherCAT cable is designed for high performance industrial applications. It is manufactured to meet Cat5 standards. This cable is suitable for use in drag-chain systems. Its robust design ensures reliable data transmission even in harsh industrial environments.

This ZK series EtherCAT cable features a green polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket and is shielded with braided tinned copper wires. This ensures optimal signal integrity and electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection. The wire insulation material is polypropylene (PP) and the wire color code includes yellow, orange, white and blue for clear identification. The conductors consist of tinned copper structured as a star quad offering high flexibility and durability. The cable has a wire insulation thickness of 0.25 mm and an overall outer diameter of 5.4 mm ± 0.3 mm. The cable operates within a temperature range of -40 °C to +80 °C in dynamic applications. The cable is well suited for high speed industrial applications with an acceleration capacity of up to 10 m/s² and a maximum speed of 15 m/s.

The ZK1090-3131-1003 EtherCAT cable includes an optical covering factor of 90 % for shielding, a loop resistance of 250 Ω/km and a dielectric strength of 1000 V DC between wire pairs. The cable's oil resistance complies with DIN EN 60811-404 and it resists a variety of chemicals such as acids and solvents. It is also free from CFCs, halogens and silicone that makes it environmentally friendly and safe for industrial use. The cable supports up to 20 million cycles in dynamic applications with a minimum bending radius of 20x the cable diameter for moving installations. The model utilizes tinned copper for enhanced conductivity and protection against corrosion.
