Both heads of the cable are equipped with shielding that provides excellent protection against interference which is vital for maintaining clear signal transmission. The EtherCAT cable heads' insulation resistance is high with values reaching 100 GΩ. Each head uses a screw locking that contributes to robust mechanical stability in industrial settings. Its construction includes materials like TPU for the body and GD-Zn with Ni for the coupling nut. The recommended torque for the nut is 0.4 Nm.
