Product Description
The KM1002-0000 is a 16-channel digital input module made by the well-known company Beckhoff Automation, which focuses on automation technology and system interaction. The input module is made for a variety of industrial automation tasks that need accurate handling of digital input signals.
The KM1002-0000 digital input module has 16 digital input channels, split into two sets of eight. The module works with a standard voltage of 24 V DC so that signals don't bounce around, and the input filter usually responds in 3.0 ms. The input module meets the requirements of EN 61131-2 and provides 500 V of electrical isolation between the K-bus and field potential, that makes control uses safer. The voltage values coming in are split into "0" signals that range from -3 V to +5 V and "1" signals that range from 15 V to 30 V. An average of 5 mA flows through each input line. With its small size of 26.5 mm wide, 100 mm high, and 71 mm deep, the KM1002-0000 is intended to make the best use of space in control cabinets.
The input module can work in temperatures from 0°C to +55°C and be kept in temperatures from -25°C to +85°C, so it can be used in a number of controlled environments. The input module is about 90 grams without the connections and is protected by IP20. The KM1002-0000 input module meets the EMC standards EN 61000-6-2 for emission and EN 61000-6-4 for protection. Beckhoff's I/O systems can connect to the module using spring connection technology, which makes connecting easy and safe. We offer a replacement guarantee for one year. The product can be shipped all over the world.
