The module KL9150-0000 of Beckhoff is a flexible and effective module from the KL Analog Input Series as ideally suited for application with current loads of ≤ 10 A. This module does not have an integrated fine-wire fuse. Because of this, all functions for various applications are smoothly ensured. The power LED indicator shines green, giving a clear view of operation status. There is no defect LED or a diagnostics feature to make this module straightforward in its design.

Working at nominal voltage 120/230 V AC, the KL9150-0000 controls power distribution in a system efficiently. It contains a PE contact, so it provides proper grounding and safety to devices connected with it. As there are no shield contacts, it is better for normal environments rather than specialized applications that require extra shielding. The module has renewed infeed capability with flexible power configurations. The connection facility for additional power contacts is only available for 1 and thus only suitable for applications where minimal additional connections are required. The K-bus is looped through; hence, connecting this module to existing Beckhoff systems is very easy and has fewer wiring requirements. This module, with a bit width of the process image of 0, especially aims at providing a clean and efficient power solution at the expense of a data transmission overhead.

The KL9150-0000 does not have any output on the K-bus, which makes this module exclusively just a power management module and not a data handling module. It does not have any electrical connections to the DIN rail as well, which makes its mounting procedure even easier and efficient, without requiring confusing mounting procedures.
