Product Description
The KL5151-0050 Incremental Encoder Interface from Beckhoff is made for industrial automation systems that need to be precise and work quickly. As part of Beckhoff's product line, the interface works with incremental encoders, that are used in many systems to accurately find position and speed. The link ensures that encoders can reliably process signals and makes integrating them into complicated control systems easier.
The KL515-10050 Incremental Encoder Interface can connect to two-channel encoders and has inputs for A, B, and C, as well as a gate/latch signal. The encoder interface works with 24 V DC. A 32-bit binary counter and a 100 kHz ceiling frequency are built into it. With its four-fold review, the quadrature decoder makes sure that the signal processing is accurate. The zero-pulse latch also has 32 bits, that means it can be used in systems that need to read and manage signals accurately. Simple statements like read, set, and enable are built into the encoder interface, that makes things easier to do in the field. Currently, the link uses 40 mA on the K-bus.
The technical specs for the KL515-10050 make sure it works well. The interface has two 32-bit data inputs and two 8-bit control/status inputs. As per standard operational needs, the operating temperature range is from -25°C to +60°C and the storage temperature range is from -40°C to +85°C. The encoder interface meets the standards for EMC protection and emissions EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-4, so it will work well in a variety of settings. Our incremental encoder interface comes with a replacement warranty and can be shipped anywhere in the world.
