The KL5111-5151 bus terminal is an incremental encoder interface designed for use in industrial applications requiring precise motion control. This terminal module supports a single incremental encoder channel and operates with a 24 V DC supply. This bus terminal can connect with encoders via A, B and C lines and supports a quadrature decoder with a 4-fold evaluation. The device can handle up to 1 million increments per second which makes it ideal for high precision positioning tasks. The KL5111 series terminal features a 16 bit counter and zero pulse latch for accurate feedback and process control.
