This KL5111-001 incremental encoder interface supports incremental encoders with a single channel for capturing signals from an encoder by typically used for motion control or monitoring. The interface operates on a 24 V DC power supply and is designed to comply with the standards by ensuring high-performance in a variety of environments. This KL series encoder supports four-fold evaluation which allows it to process up to 1 million increments per second by providing high-resolution feedback for precise control. This is more enhanced by its 16-bit binary counter and a zero-pulse latch which adds flexibility in applications that require position referencing. It offers connections for A, B, and C encoder signals along with a 24 V power supply for the encoder connection itself and does not provide encoder output current. The KL5111-0015 incremental encoder is housed in a compact and 12 mm-wide terminal with pluggable wiring for easy installation using rail mounting by complying with EN 60715. Its design includes signal LEDs for operational feedback by enhancing ease of use and monitoring. The terminal operates within a temperature range of 0 to +55°C and its vibration and shock resistance comply with EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27 standards. It is certified and holds CE, UL, ATEX and IECEx approvals by indicating suitable environmental conditions.
