Product Description
The Beckhoff KL3311-0100 is a small thermocouple terminal that is made to measure temperatures accurately. The thermocouple works with different kinds of thermocouple sensors, so it can be used in situations that need accuracy and dependability. The EL3311 works with the K-bus system, that makes connection and integration within industrial automation systems very easy.
The KL3311-0100 thermocouple terminal can work with J, K, L, B, E, N, R, S, T, and U sensor types, and type K is the usual setting. Type K thermocouples can be used to measure temperatures between -100°C and +1370°C. The terminal can also measure millivolts between ±30 mV and ±120 mV. The connection is made of two wires, and the conversion time is around 200 ms. The EL3311 has a wire failure indicator that makes it more reliable to use, and the terminal has a resolution of 0.1°C per digit and an error rate of less than ±0.5% when compared to the full-scale number. Between the K-bus and the signal power, there is electrical isolation of up to 500 V.
The KL3311-0100 has a weight of about 70 grams and can work in temperatures from 0°C to +55°C. It can be stored at temperatures from -25°C to +85°C. The unit meets the requirements of EN 60715 and can be mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail. IP20 protects the terminal and has a double slot and key connection that allows it to be placed next to each other. The terminal meets the standards for EMC protection and emissions (EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-4). It has approvals from CE, ATEX, UL, and IECEx. We guarantee that all our products will work properly, and we provide a replacement warranty in case of malfunction.
