Product Description
The KL3202-0000 bus terminal is a temperature-measuring device developed for precise control and monitoring applications available from Beckhoff. The terminal is compatible with a wide range of resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), including Pt100, Pt200, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni120, and Ni1000. Because of this, the terminal is ideal for use in industrial automation applications that require temperature measurement.
Two terminal ports on the KL3202-0000 bus terminal get power from the K-bus. There is no difference between two-wire and three-wire links. Many kinds of sensors can be used because the end is flexible. The Pt sensors on the product can record temperatures from -200°C to +850°C. Using Ni sensors, the terminal can record temperatures between -60°C and +250°C. The readout is accurate to within ±1°C, with a precision of 0.1°C for each digit. The time required for the conversion is approximately 250 ms, and the current typically measured is 0.5 mA. Resistance to electromagnetic fields and emissions and shaking and shock are two areas where this terminal excels. The K-bus and signal voltage are well protected by the 500 V electrical separation at the KL3202-0000 bus end.
There are no power connections on the terminal, and it only draws 60 mA from the K-bus. The terminal features control and status bits, and it can accept two 16-bit data inputs. It simplifies configuration via the Bus Coupler or driver because it can detect whether a circuit is open and does not require addressing. The operating temperature range for the KL3202-0000 bus terminal is -25°C to +60°C, and the storage temperature range is -40°C to +85°C. The terminal has an IP20 certification for protection and weighs around 70 grams. The product is available for global shipment by Wake Industrial and comes with a year replacement warranty.
