Product Description

The KL3062-0050 is an analog input module with high-performance from the new product line offered by Beckhoff, in the range of KL Analog Input Series. As is to be expected, it can process up to 2 inputs; with regard to signal voltages, it can handle 0…10 V. There is a high module resolution, which is 12 bits. This makes data conversion sharp and reliable for industrial automation and control systems.

The power supply of the KL3062-0050is taken directly through the K-bus, making integration into larger Beckhoff systems easier. It has an internal resistance more than 200 kΩ that rejects the negative impacts of the environment on its operation and it may work operable even under extreme conditions. The conversion time is impressively short, by about 2 ms, making great use for applications that involve rapid data processing. The module provides accurate readings due to a measurement uncertainty less than ±0.3% relative to the full scale value, which is always important in industrial environments. Further, it consumes just a few 60 mA from the K-bus and hence can maintain its power efficiency level in the system. Its bit width in the process image is flexible and it offers an optional 2 x 8-bit control / status besides 2 x 16-bit data.

It is designed to be very rugged and thus compliant with EN 60068-2-6 for vibration resistance and with EN 60068-2-27 for shock resistance. Furthermore, it is also compliant with EN 61000-6-2 for EMC immunity and with EN 61000-6-4 for EMC emissions. Its size is about 60 g and compact enough to be easily mounted as well as managed.
