The unit KL2791-0011 is an AC motor speed controller designed by Beckhoff Automation for precise control of 1-phase AC motors. It provides a direct motor connection and is commonly used in automation systems requiring variable speed control. This product is widely applicable in industries for applications such as conveyors, pumps and fans.
The KL2791 series controller operates at a nominal voltage of 230 V AC with a mains voltage that also supports 230 V AC. It features a rated output of up to 200 VA and a maximum output current of 0.9 A suitable for controlling single phase AC motors. The model’s control type is phase/full wave that ensures fine motor speed adjustments with a resolution of 1 %. The device lacks reverse voltage protection and has an electrical isolation rating of 500 V (K-bus/field voltage) and 3750 V AC for 1 minute. The model’s leakage current in the OFF state is below 1 mA that indicates low power losses. This motor controller consumes 95 mA current from the K-bus. It processes data using 16 bit outputs including optional status control. The unit supports various conductor types for wiring with a current load power contact rating of up to 10 A.
The KL2791-0011 AC motor speed controller’s design includes a compact polycarbonate housing with dimensions of 12 mm x 100 mm x 68 mm that enables efficient installation on a 35 mm DIN rail. The terminal supports side by side mounting and uses solid, flexible or ferrule type wiring with cross sections ranging from 0.08 to 2.5 mm² (solid/flexible). The motor speed controller also features IP20 protection and is approved with CE markings for compliance.
