The Beckhoff KL2502-3020 bus terminal is part of the KL Analog Input Series and has high-performance features made for use in industrial automation. The terminal ensures that systems that need pulse width modulation (PWM) and different digital input/output functions are controlled reliably and accurately. The KL2502-3020 bus terminal has two outputs, each with a 5 V DC voltage, and the terminal can handle PWM clock speeds of up to 30 kHz. With a minimum on-time of 750 ns and an off-time of 500 ns, the duty factor can be anywhere from 0 to 100%. With a resolution of up to 10 bits, the terminal gives fine control over the output settings. The module provides strong safety and efficiency, with an electrical isolation capacity of 500 V between the K-bus and field potential. The terminal takes 10 mA plus load from the power ports of the KL2502-3020 plus 18 mA from the K-bus. It has 48 inputs and outputs in the process image, with 2 x 16-bit data signals and 2 x 8-bit control/status signals.

The KL2502-3020 bus terminal is small (12 mm W x 100 mm H x 68 mm D) and weighs about 50 grams, that makes it perfect for putting on a DIN rail. The connector can be used from 0°C to +55°C and kept at -25°C. The terminal has a lot of industry approvals, like CE, UL, ATEX, and IECEx.
