IP Compact Box Series

The Beckhoff IP Compact Box Series (IP Series) provides a comprehensive range of IP67-rated I/O modules designed for direct field installation. Featuring rugged and sealed construction, these modules can be mounted on machines without additional control cabinets or terminal boxes. The IP Series offers a wide assortment of signal types including digital and analog I/O, temperature detection, position measurement, and compact drives, making them suitable for diverse automation needs. Central to the IP Compact Box modules is a direct EtherCAT interface on each, with an input and output ensuring high-speed communication to the individual module level. This direct EtherCAT connection obviates additional fieldbus couplers, simplifying system architecture and reducing installation complexity and time. Modules are available in sturdy housing materials like stainless steel and die-cast zinc for especially demanding environments such as process and food industries. Engineered for harsh conditions, the IP Series withstands an extended operating temperature range from -25°C to +60°C along with high resistance to shock and vibration. Fully potted compact designs allow direct machine mounting even in wet, dirty and dusty surroundings per IP65, IP66 and IP67 protection standards. Pre-assembled cables and push-fit connectors further simplify wiring while preventing faults.
