FM Thermocoupler Series

The Beckhoff FM Thermocoupler Series is a comprehensive product line of rugged fieldbus modules designed for industrial temperature data acquisition applications. Each module is equipped to directly connect between 16 to 32 thermocouples in a compact, splash-proof housing. By leveraging an integrated EtherCAT interface, the modules smoothly integrate into Beckhoff's automation solutions. This simplifies implementing temperature monitoring through easy configuration and parameterization over EtherCAT. The FM Series is highly versatile in supporting common thermocouple types including J, K and mV inputs to match a broad range of measurement requirements. Advanced features like full-range linearization, cold junction compensation and back-voltage protection provide accurate, reliable temperature readings. Housing variants include a clip-on type A and locking, rubber-sealed add-on type B, allowing flexibility according to specific installation needs.
