Product Description
The Beckhoff ES4012, an output terminal from the ES EtherCAT Terminal Series, is small in size but high functionality. It is a current output terminal aimed at industrial application that needs respect for the current control limits. It has two analog outputs with a signal current range of 0-20mA and 12bit resolution, so that rhythmic anticipation of the output signals can be achieved. This terminal operates with an approximate conversion time of 150 the µs, which is very good when processing data fast.
The ES4012’s support for distributed clocks is accurate to within one microsecond hence offering the possibility of being used in real time tight timing considerations. The output error is not beyond the fifth to the end value of the output, this enshrined dependability with the unit, upon the last parameter. It’s currently reading transformer in the applications of up to 50 above as it is short-circuit-proof but better free from conventional fuse protection.
To accomplish the above objective for this module, a 3 wire, single ended connection technology is employed which facilitates easy wiring and installation. When reforming changes or malfunctions, the firm’s pluggable wiring provides hapless assembly and maintenance which lessens the time wasted on configurations changes or repairs. The ES4012 can all be cosmetically improved – which means more negative and more positive temperature for operations. The unit draws about 140 mA from E-bus and operating 25 mA from power contacts which is efficient in lower power consumption but high performance. The unit B has got obligation to carry CE or UL or Ex certification. The ES4012 Beckhoff is a perfect choice for current controlling automation where the signals output is critical in a complementary manner and not redundant.
