Product Description
The Beckhoff ES3602 is a high-precision analog input terminal from the ES EtherCAT Terminal Series, specifically designed for industrial applications that require accurate and sensitive voltage measurements. Equipped with two differential input channels and a 24-bit resolution, the module is ideal for tasks demanding precision, such as process monitoring or laboratory measurements.
The ES3602 supports a wide range of input voltages, including ±10 V, ±5 V, ±2.5 V, and ±1.25 V, ensuring versatility across various measurement requirements. This flexibility allows it to be used in multiple environments, from low-signal laboratory setups to more intense industrial processes. The module is powered directly through the E-bus, eliminating the need for an external power source, which simplifies installation and reduces wiring complexity. To maintain measurement accuracy, the terminal has an internal resistance greater than 200 kΩ, minimizing signal loading. Additionally, it offers a common-mode voltage tolerance of up to 35 V, making it well-suited for environments where electrical noise or ground potential differences could otherwise interfere with performance.
One of the standout features of the ES3602 is its configurable conversion time, which can be adjusted between 1 ms and 400 ms (default set at 20 ms). This adaptability allows users to fine-tune the speed and accuracy for different applications. The input filter has a limit frequency of 3 kHz, ensuring smooth signal processing, while the module’s measurement error is less than ±0.01% at 25°C with a 50 Hz filter, providing exceptional precision even in varying environmental conditions. Operating in temperatures from -25°C to +60°C, and able to withstand storage temperatures as low as -40°C, the ES3602 is built to perform reliably in harsh industrial environments. Its compact polycarbonate housing with pluggable wiring further enhances its ease of integration into existing systems.
